Kira
Kira, a three-year old American Red Cross therapy collie, visits the staff and patients at Landstuhl Medical Center in Germany. Wounded troops are brought here from Afghanistan and Iraq. Because of their gentle, affectionate nature, the collie makes a wonderful visitor for Americans and others who are away from home, speeding their physical and emotional recovery.
