Willa (Adopted)

7/5/24:  Went home with my new moms today and Brody the collie.  He is younger than me but so much bigger and happy to have a playmate.  He has showed me all around the yard and welcomed me to my new home.  Then one of my moms took me to this big store where they had so many toys…and treats…and other dogs…and..and…and… there were some girls there, they were dressed funny so I think they worked there, but anyway, they were loving on me… one of them said “OMG I have never seen one of you in real life!!  Then we went home for dinner and I helped to set up my new bedroom.  I think I am going to love it here with Deanna, Micki and Brody

6/17/24:  I am a six year old collie girl at 55 pounds.  I love going for car rides and will hop right in.  I am housetrained, crate trained, know basic commands and pretty good on the leash.  I don’t pay any attention to the cats but do prefer the company of male dogs.  I like to snuggle or do whatever you want to do.

Huckleberry (Adopted)

6/29/24:  Julie and Melvin came to meet me and decided to take me home.  I have a brand new bed just for me and with my new toys I have showed them I can play fetch.   They will help me to get healthy again and gain some much needed weight.  I’m getting so much love and attention here and this is the best life ever.  Thanks everyone that has help with my medical needs.

6/17/24:  I was picked up by the animal shelter as a stray and in pretty rough shape.  Being an older fellow no one picked me for adoption.  I was on my last day when the rescue found out about me and picked me up.  I was immediately taken to the vet for a medicated bath and check over.  I have a lot of hair loss, ear infection and rotten teeth that need to be pulled.  The vet cut out the mats and put me on medicine.  Thankfully I am heartworm negative and my bloodwork was very good.  I’m a sweet old guy and having no problems with the housetraining.  I don’t pay much attention to the other dogs or cats but they are ok with me.  My greatest desire is to have a doggie bed and this is the most wonderful thing.  I am looking for a permanent foster home.  This is where the rescue will pay for my approved medical cost and all you have to do is love me.

Thank you Gale Davis, Christy Drinka, Julie Gochenour, Maria Maxwell, Cheryl Fluckiger, Beth Nahlovsky, Kim Jarrett, Barry Knapp, Julie Vidal, Thomas Mcfall, Barbara Minakakis and Deborah Brown

6/24/24:  Starting my new life with the Kaplan’s and I will be their third adoption from CRC.  We traveled a long way home and then I met Daisy my new sister.  She is six and will teach me the things I need to know as I grow up.  We went for a long walk and then explored the yard.  Finally, she realizes I am staying and has started to play with me.  Life is going to be great here.

6/3/24:  I am a six month old fellow at about 38 pounds.  I am a very calm puppy and sweet as sugar.  I listen very well when I am told no and learning my basic commands.  Doing good with the leash walking but there are some things out front that scare me.  I am slowly get used to those things.  I am crate trained and doing great with the housetraining.  I’m a very smart fellow that learned the doggie door the first day I was here.  I play with the other dogs and learning about the cats.
