Stiller (Adopted)

1/25/25:  It seems all that training, grooming, and even neutering really paid off! I’m getting adopted and starting a new chapter with Logan. The two of us are going to do a lot together and become great buddies. I’ll also have an older female dog around to show me the ropes and have some fun with. I’m sure Logan will love me and take great care of me since he’s an experienced collie guy.

1/19/25:  I’m a 1-year-old Collie, weighing around 65 pounds. My brother Farrell and I were brought to the animal shelter by our breeder when they couldn’t find buyers for us. At first, I was a bit nervous about coming inside, which is why I wore a leash, but I quickly got comfortable. I have a cheerful, friendly personality and get along wonderfully with other dogs. I’m making great progress with leash walking, doing well with house training, and I’ve already mastered crate training. I’ll soon be heading to the vet for a checkup, bath, and neuter. My bio will be updated as the rescue learns more about me!

Farrell (Adopted)

1/25/25:  Bethany and Andrew knew right away that I was the one for them the moment they saw my picture, so I’m heading home with them! They’ve already started spoiling me, and I’ve got plenty of toys to play with and tons of attention. The family came over to meet me, and I absolutely love the kids! I’m settling in comfortably and can tell I’m going to be very happy here.

Atty (Adopted)

1/18/25:  Michelle drove a long way to adopt me, so we’re spending the night in a hotel. It’s the best place ever—I picked out my bed right away! Tomorrow, we’ll start the trip home and get to know each other better along the way. We’re going to have so much fun together, hiking and going on long walks. Once we get home, I’ll meet Whiskey, a 3-year-old Beagle. I’m sure we’ll get along just fine, and hopefully, he’ll want to play! I never imagined my life could be this amazing. A big thank you to everyone who helped me get here!

12/22/24:  Well, folks, it looks like I’m a bit naked right now, having lost most of my coat. Pregnancy can really take a toll on the body’s nutrients, which often causes excessive shedding as it recovers. But don’t worry, my fur will grow back soon and look beautiful again. I’ve already had my heartworm treatment and am doing just fine. Next up, I’ll be spayed and ready to find my forever home. I also wanted to share how well I get along with the cats—they seem to like me too!

11/26/24:  At just three years old, life hasn’t been kind to this sweet collie girl. I’ve had several litters of puppies, I have heartworms that will be treated, and I’m missing part of my front paw pad, though I’m hopeful it will heal over time. Despite everything, I’m a happy, loving little girl. I was lucky to be rescued as a stray by the shelter and brought to CRC. I’m doing great with house training and crate training. I get along well with both cats and other dogs— as long as they don’t try to sniff my behind! I’m done having puppies and will protect that until I can be spayed. I’m also learning basic commands and working on loose leash walking.

Thank you Pamela Powers and Vincent Pedavoli for helping with my medical cost.
